Its my dearest friend's birthday last Thursday. I went to their house after work and celebrate it with her. He boyfriend, Arnold, was also there. And he cooked this delicious pansit for us. Yummy!

There was also a roll of chocolate cake; which was from Lanie's students. They went to her house to surprise her. And you know what is their gift to their sweet professor? A puppy! I will write a separate post about Lanie's cute little puppy. But for now, I will focus on the birthday celebration first :-)

We also had some chickens.

Lanie is my friend from high school. We were classmates on our first year; then she transferred to a different school on our second year. But that does not stopped us from getting in touch. We write letters to each other. And we visit each other during school fairs, and whenever we have chance to meet. There are also times when we would spend the whole evening talking on the phone; and that is right after spending the whole day together at the mall. Can you imagine that? We had our 24hours time spent together, hehehe... I miss those times. I think we were still in college during that time. Things changed when you are already working. And so now, we just call each other once in a while. Get together on special occasions; and sometimes we would meet each other in the nearest McDonalds around my work place. Nevertheless, our friendship remains. And nothing can keep it from going on. We may not see and talk with each other more often than before; but in our hearts, our love and care for each other remains.
