First Day in My New Work Place

Today is my first day in my new work work place. Nope. I don't have a new job. I am still with the same company; been here for four years now. Oh, last June 15 was my fourth year anniversary in the company. Can you imagine that? Four long years. Anyway, as I was saying, it is my first day in my new work place. I was transfered to our new office in Quezon City. It is an expansion office actually. Our Makati office is still existing. My colleague Iyatot will remain in our Makati office and I will be in our QC office.

I was really sad last Friday; while I was packing my things. Goodbyes and moving on are really hard, don't you think? I guess that's what life is all about - live and learn; crash and burn; let go and move on.

I am having mixed emotions actually. I am sad because I won't be seeing my close friends that are reporting for work on our Makati office. On the other hand, I am feeling happy because I am facing new challenges - there are a lot of things that our team need to establish in our new expansion office; and the distance of our new office to our house is quite a challenge already, hehehe... These challenges will keep me busy and occupied. I like to be busy, especially nowadays. I want my mind to be occupied most of the time; to keep me from thinking unnecessary thoughts and feeling unwanted emotions.

This morning I was busy arranging my work place and my files. I also had some soft files that I am still transfering from my old PC in Makati to my new PC in QC. And then in the afternoon, had a meeting with my maintenance team to settle some concerns about schedules and their work assignments.
