Missing My Sis

I was talking to my friend online today. She was my officemate before and now she's staying in California. She works as a Software Engineer and she's been there for quite a while now. We call each other "sis" for sisters. Well that is because that's what we've become through the years. And you know what, we have the same birthdate, but she's a year older than me. We're both born on the 28th of January; we're Aquarians. Would you believe that some of our life experiences are somehow the same. And not just the experiences, there are also some facts about our families that are the same. My mom's birthday is on the 24th of May; same as her Dad's birthday... hehehe... I'm not sure if these are just coincidences; but just the same, we enjoy each other's company and we share the same sentiments and agree on the same things.

Going back to my chit-chat with my friend. During our conversation, I asked her about her boyfriend. And I suddenly blurted out this idea of searching for a boyfriend through my blogs. I just thought that maybe I can create a post, informing my readers that I am in search for my soul mate and I would enumerate the qualities of the man I have been searching for. My friend was laughing at me and said "you're really crazy". Actually I think its not that I am crazy, it seemed more of like I am desperate, hehehe.... I am not sure where I got that idea. But I am not that desperate (yet) (lol).

Anyway, we continued with our conversation. It was funny to know that she is more updated with the show business happenings here in the Philippines; considering that she's miles away. Watching filipino channels in the US has become her past time. And I think that is good.

I miss my sis. I'm praying that we'll see each other soon. And hopefully, we'll see each other in the US. It has always been our dream, that one day we'll see each other in California and she'd show me around the state. Until then, we'll continue being in touch.
