New Work Schedule

About three weeks ago, I posted something about my new work place in our new office in Quezon City. This transfer to my new work place was actually scheduled to happen a month earlier than the actual date I transferred. I was not able to transfer as planned because there are things that I still have to complete in our Makati office; and also I had to take my scheduled vacation leave, which happen to be prior my transfer date. In other words, there's been a lot going on during the time this transfer is being planned. But according to my close friend and officemate, Lilibeth, the real reason why I did not transfer as scheduled is because I was still in the process of accepting the fact that I am leaving our old office in Makati (my old baby); and I have to deal and take care of our new office in Quezon City (my new baby). Honestly, I felt that she's right about me being unable to accept that I have to let go and move on. These two things surely are the hardest things about life. Oh, and there's another thing that's really kept me from moving on, and that is acceptance. This movement means bigger responsibilities; and it scares me... hehehe..

And so finally, I was able to transfer. I could say that I was able to let go. And also, I was able to move on a few steps away. And just when I was about to take another step further, I was advised that I have to go back. I was able to report for work in my new work place only for a week, contrary to what we've discussed before I left our office in Makati. I was told that I should still report for work in our Makati office. Just when I am about to open my heart; I was asked to look back and never forget the old life.

Last week, I started with my new work schedule. I am reporting 2-3 days in our Makati office, Monday to Wednesday; and 2-3 days in our Quezon City office, Wednesday to Friday. I am now in that stage again of starting over. Hopefully, I would be able to go through with it smoothly and quickly.
