Here is my first post for the Pixel Bug Weekend meme of Sassy Mom's Life. Thanks for the invite Sis!
Sharing here some of the pictures we had last Saturday, while the rain was pouring hard. There was no electricity, and there is nothing left to do but play with the gadgets that still has batteries available. Good thing my camera is still available for use.
One of the subjects I have for my photo shoot is the candle on top of our center table in our living room. There was no electricity. There's no TV to watch the news from; no radio; and no internet to check the news about the typhoon. We have no idea that there is a disaster going on around Metro Manila.
May this candle light brings hope to our fellow Filipinos that are still stranded in the streets, in the roof of their homes and those who are still searching for their loved ones. May this candle light gives them comfort as they continue to fight this ordeal; may it give courage to continue with life inspite of all these challenges.

Amen to that! May the victims of this unfortunate event find light in GOd and continue to have hope and rebuild their lives.

Great idea sis, really, GOD is our only source of strenght in times of trouble.

So sad about the tragedy.. candle could a real symbol for hope..
