Outdoor Fireplaces

One of the parts of the house that we don't have here in the Philippines is a fire place. This is understandable considering that the Philippines is a tropical country. And so my dream to have a house with a fireplace is not possible, unless of course I would be able to have a house in the West Coast. When that happens, I would have fireplaces in each room of the house (big grin). I will have all sorts of fireplaces inside my house, and even outside! I have seen several pictures of outdoor fireplaces in the internet. Yes, you read that right, fireplaces outside the house. I was amazed the first time I saw it (I think its a normal reaction for a person who grew up in a tropical country). When I saw it, the first thing that came to my mind is, outdoor camping (hehehe...) It was only during campings when we experienced an outdoor fireplace effect, hehehe...

Now I have to think of how I am going to have my dream house in the West Coast, with fireplaces all over - inside and outside the house.
