Running Away With The Music

let the music in my ears
bury the sentiments I feel
let each lyric
replace superfluous thoughts in my mind
let every melody
carry me to a remarkable dwelling
let every note
console my emotions
let every line
calm my thoughts

I wrote these few lines while I was at work today; I created it in between tasks of course (big grin). My mind was pretty occupied with a lot of things. I was trying to focus on my tasks, but there are a few thoughts about work that prevents me from focusing on what I am busy with. In my struggle to focus my mind to my work, I started to feel grumpy. And so to keep the grumpyness meter from soaring high, I decided to put my earphones on and listen to music. Thank God portable music players were invented (big grin).
