Finding Nemo and Kung Fu Panda

I just want to share a couple of my favorite animated movies and my favorite lines in these movies. Animated movies are usually known to be for kids only; but even so, there are a lot of adults enjoy them as well. And some would think that it only gives entertainment, but the truth is, these animated movies not only give entertainment but inspiration (and hope) too! My favorite animated movie lines are actually words of wisdom.

First on my list is FINDING NEMO. Its a movie that speaks about trust, faith and hope. Trust between friends; Trust of a father to his son; Faith of a father to his son; Hope whenever life get you down. My favorite line - "just keep swimming, just keep swimming". There are several scenes in the movie when this line was mentioned. Dory the tang fish was even singing! - "just keep swimming, just keep swimming". I also have several Dory line's that I like, but the one I like most is - "when life get you down, just keep swimming".

Next is KUNG FU PANDA. This one surely has loads of lines that are definitely full of wisdom. In the beginning of the movie, there are already a number of nice lines from Master Oogway. Here are my favorite lines of Master Oogway -

"Nothing is impossible."

"One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it."

"Your mind is like this water my friend, when it is agitated it becomes difficult to see; but if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear."

"There are no accidents."

I also love the scene when Master Oogway found Po the Panda under the peach tree, eating (big grin). I kindda can relate to Po, I eat when I'm upset (big grin). While Po was having his "moment" and thinking about quitting, Master Oogway tells him the following lines:

"You are too concerned with what was and what will be, there's a saying - Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift; that is why it is called the present."

Master Oogway also has a line that speaks about the illusion of control. As I understand it, one must let go of the illusion of control to be able to fulfill his destiny (I need to remind myself about this..geez..sigh..). And one also has to believe; one must believe.

Let me leave you with this one nice line from Po's father (the duck) - "the secret ingredient of my secret ingredient soup is - nothing. there is no secret ingredient. to make something special, you just have to believe it's special."
