A Busy Sunday with My Nephew

I went to the mall with my nephew early today. We are going to the Smart Wireless Center to get my new free celphone! I applied to the retention program of Smart about a couple of months ago. And finally, I am going to get my free phone!

We arrived at the center at around 11am. We waited for more than an hour before our number was called. The customer service agent was serving customer number 4009; and we are customer number 4019. I started to lose patience and so I asked my nephew to stay in the Center and wait for our number to be called while I go to the clinic (inside the mall) to get the results of the test I've had a couple of weeks ago. I also have a doctor's appointment at 1pm that day; to show the results of my laboratory test, that is why I am very much conscious with the time. And also, we still need to drop by the store where I work as a part time fashion consultant; there are a few things that I also need to complete that day.

I was almost near the clinic when my nephew called me on my celphone, telling me that there are only a couple of numbers left before our turn. And so I had to hurry back to the Center. Apparently, when I stepped out of the Center, the agent started calling customers and most of them are out (probably they lost patience too).

Anyway, after I finally got my phone, we went straight to the clinic. I got the laboratory test results; but when I asked the nurse if my doctor is already available, he told me that my doctor called and advised that she is coming in late (geez!) We have to wait for her for two hours. And so we just went out of the clinic and eat had our lunch first; then we went window shopping for shoes. I'm thinking of buying a new pair of shoes for our Christmas party.

After a long day of waiting, falling in line and talking to different people (an agent, a nurse, a doctor, and the fashion agent in my part-time job); I am finally able to enjoy a moment with my new celphone (big grin).

This is my old phone. I forgot the model hehehe... but its a Nokia phone. This is actually my Dad's old phone. My niece used to own it; then when she got a new phone, she gave it to me, while my Dad got the new phone I was able to get free from Smart also. Looking at it, you'd probably say that it is about time that I replace it (big grin).

This is my new phone. Its a Nokia 6120C. Its a white phone, with 2megapixel camera and a 512memory card. I am really excited to use it. Though it is not one of the hottest phones nowadays, I am still proud of it.

Here are the accessories included - a charger (of course), usb cable, and a headset.

It was a very tiring day for me and my nephew. But we surely had fun while we were waiting for my phone, waiting for the doctor and strolling around the mall. I hope you all had a nice weekend too.
