Green Philippines Islands of Sustainability (GPIoS)

Sharing here some photos of the workshop I attended yesterday with my colleague. We were sent to the Green Philippines Islands of Sustainability Project (GPIoS) workshop to represent our company. It was an 8hour seminar/workshop about the GPIoS project and the strategies that can be used in implementing the project successfully. It is actually a series of seminars and workshops. The next sessions is scheduled on August.

For more information about Green Philippines Islands on Sustainability (GPIoS), you may check it here.

There are about 20 companies who participated yesterday which was held at the German European School Manila, Better Living Subdivision, Paranaque City. My colleague and I had a hard time locating the place, but it was fun anyway (big grin).

In the beginning of the workshop, we were requested to write on a big piece of paper information about the company we were representing - the company logo, company name, services/products we offer, our names and designations, our motivation why we are participating in the GPIoS project, the areas/topics we are interested in, and our personal motto. During the course of the workshop we were requested to discuss the information that we wrote. It was fun and a very different experience for me and my colleague. At first I was nervous, but as we go on with the activity I found myself having fun (big grin).

We were given chocolates to keep us alert the whole duration of the work shop, especially during the lecture part. Chocolates kept on pouring throughout the day, it was given as a reward for every good answers that we give and for the group works that we did. I got 6 chocolates. I already ate 2 of them that's why I only have 4 on the photo.

There are also refreshments available the whole day - coffee, water, fruit juices. And there are biscuits, fruits and different kinds of pastries available for snacks. I just had apple juice the whole day and danish cookies for snacks.
