A Different Yey! Friday!

Last Friday, me and my colleague was tasked to attend the Green Philippines Island of Sustainability workshop. It was actually the third workshop. The first one was held last June; the second one was held last Friday.

The seminar ended a few minutes early than scheduled. We were fortunate again to hitched a ride from one of the participants. He dropped us off at the Magallanes MRT Station. We were already climbing the stairs of the train station when my colleague asked me if I want to take the bus instead. I paused for a while to think about it; I think its a good idea. So we walked towards the bus stop; but then I remembered I am meeting my other colleagues in the mall; which is just a station away from Magallanes. For a few minutes we stood at the bus stop trying to figure out what bus to take. And then finally my colleague suggested that we walk going to the mall, since the traffic was also terrible at that moment. In other words, we walked our feet out from Magallanes station to Ayala Station (big grin).

It was a tiring day but I had fun. I learned new things from the workshop, like -"waste are good stuff at the wrong place" - we just need to know how to use them at the right place. Another new thought that stuck to my mind is - "system of trust" - suppliers and buyers build their relationship with the system of trust. Others are - peak load, electricity charges, parallel and serial.

The other nice thing about seminars - meeting new and interesting people.
