I met with my old friend from work last Wednesday night. She finally has a new job. However she is on night-shift. I think this is her first time to work on a night-shift. And it was only her third day at work when I saw her, so far she is not good (big grin). She was already telling me how hard it was to earn money [wink, wink]. Anyway, she also shared how the pre-employment process was with her new employer. Like my employer now, they too had to conduct an easy back ground back ground check to my friend. I think most employers nowadays practice this kind of pre-employment requirement. According to my friend, her neighbor told her Aunt that someone's been asking them about her. The neighbor was curious and got concern so they told it to her Aunt. But since she has a "good background", there was nothing to worry about, and she was hired already. I just wish her good luck, working on a night-shift for the first time. And I hope to see you again soon.
