Reading and AudioBooks

I like to read. It started when I was still in elementary school. My mom likes to read comics as her way of relaxing after finishing the household chores. She would buy comics (as in, comics that has a stories or you can compare them to the telenovelas nowadays), and I would read them too. I think that is were I got the interest in writing stories and poetry. I think it inspired me to wanting to become a writer when I was a kid. Well, until now I want to become a writer, have my pile of poems and short stories. However, it has become my "other job" instead of my "dream come true" (big grin). Anyway, when I was in high school I continue to reading pocket books and was also introduced to other kinds of books - inspirational, self-help etc. And I also become a fan of Harry Potter, works of Bob Ong and Sidney Sheldon, poetry of Walt Whitman and E.E. Cummings, and some classic novels too.  However, when I started working, I got less time to read books (sad face).  I actually had a couple of new best sellers that I was not able to finish reading yet.  I would love to read again; to have spare time to read books again.  My friend told me about audiobooks.  I would like to try it and see if I would appreciate it.  Reading is different from listening.  They are two totally different thing, different experience.  There are free mp3 audiobooks which I could try on. And I am hoping to do that soon.  Geez... even this option seems to be hard for me to work on.  I can ask my nephew to do the downloading for me [wink, wink].
